Sweet Little Lies

Sammy sometimes tells little lies. I usually know when he's doing it. Sometimes he gets one over on me, though. 

One night, he was gone for hours and kept making excuses and stories about what he and a friend were doing. It ended up they had installed a new dishwasher at the house for me and it completely surprised me. I like lies like that!

Tonight, he told me he had decided not to grill the pork chops and just to let me do it when I got home. Now, I was going to have to rush supper because he had a church meeting.

But before we hung up, the little sneak confessed he had already fixed dinner, even grilled asparagus and mashed potatoes.

It's kind of funny, because we were out of milk, so Sammy substituted Silk for the mashed potatoes. Would you follow the link to see why I giggled half way home?
